“Everything Cosplay” Photo shoot

Recently I had the opportunity to shoot with a local Cosplay Group “Heroes and Villains Cosplay” at an event they titled “Everything Cosplay” in Mesa AZ.
The shoot took place at Mid-day in Mesa AZ in the alley behind the “Gothem City Comics” store…
It was Hot that day…I mean…Really Hot…like Az in the Summer Hot…!
Consequently there wasn’t a huge turnout. But those who did show up proved their Dedication to the craft…

So we shot in the heat until I nearly melted my gear (True Story).
These images are the results of a lot of sweat, a little blood (Deadpool’s blood so it don’t really count…) and some tears..from the sweat in my eyes…
Oh, and the reason Deadpool was bleeding was all because Elektra (Raven Snow) has no sense of humor…and Deadpool (Anthony Pemberton) just don’t care!

It’s a (strange) family affair!

Krash: Then & Now

5 years ago at the Arizona Renaissance Festival I met a girl. I knew at the time she was special…I’m betting you can see for yourself why.

Our encounter was at the very beginning of her Cosplaying adventure, and I believe she even said it was her very first time visiting the Ren Faire.

Since that time I have ALWAYS looked forward to seeing her amazing Cosplays at various ComiCon’s and other events.

You have, I’m sure, seen photos of Krash on this site in the past. If you would like more details about her Cosplays, and you’d have to be crazy Not to, here is the link to her Facebook page.

Lord of the Sith – Lord of Men

Her gaze is Piercing beyond what her Dark Force Power emits…her power from BEFORE becoming a Sith was over Men.
Her gaze is Penetrating beyond what her seething anger and hatred portray thru her Mastery of The Force, she could penetrate the Soul with just a single glance and cause the strongest of Men and Woman to tremble in Awe since a very young age.  Time has only made her powers more terrible. More invasive. More…Fierce.

Don’t look now! She seeeeeessss youuuu!

Cosplayer Spotlight – Tiffany as Steampunk Sally (PHXCC 2017)

Welcome to another Cosplayer Spotlight. Today I bring you my friend Tiffany as “Steampunk Sally” from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” which she premiered at PHXCC 2017.

Tiffany is, quite frankly, doing some of the most original Cosplays I have seen. I think her secret is that she follows her heart and creates from her soul.  Take a look and see what I mean! And to see the full set on Flickr click here.

Phoenix ComiCon FanFest 2016

This gallery contains 1 photo.

The third annual Phoenix ComiCon FanFest took place this year at the Phoenix Convention Center instead of it’s previous home of the  University of Phoenix Football Stadium  where it had been for it’s first two years of life. I’ve heard there were mixed feelings among some attendees about this move, mainly due to the loss […]
